A very warm week

Unseasonably warm weather will shape most of the week in southern Colorado. High pressure will remain firmly entrenched across the state through Thursday. By Friday a trough will begin to slide into the state. This trough will increase the winds on the Front Range; as a result the fire danger will increase. Next weekend will likely be much colder.

Monday Forecast:

Colorado Springs: Mostly sunny, light winds, high 64

Pueblo: Mostly sunny, light winds, high 67

Monument: Mostly sunny, light winds, high 61

Teller County: Mostly sunny, light winds, high 55
