A tense stand off with deputies lands one man in custody

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office and their Special Tactics and Rescue team (S.W.A.T.) was dispatched to the intersection of 500 McCulloch Blvd and 1600 El Charro at around 6 a.m. Saturday, where residents were requested to stay indoors and away from windows facing the area on the report of a man who had barricaded himself in a home located on the 500 block of McCulloch .

At around 9:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office reported that the suspect had been taken into custody and that investigators are on scene investigating the situation that lead to the tense stand off between deputies and the suspect. We have a crew on scene and will follow up on this story in our 5:30 p.m. broadcast today.
