A structure and fire truck lost in Baca County fire

A fire in Baca County is 85% contained tonight, but not before leaving a bad mark. That fire burned almost 2 thousand acres about 10 miles south of Springfield.

The Baca County Sheriff's office says it started after a car rolled on County road M. The fire destroyed one structure and a fire truck. It damaged another structure. Deputies say no one was hurt.

Crews are still working on hot spots.

Another fire burning in Oklahoma crossed into Baca County. Sheriff's deputies say firefighters quickly got that under control.
