Sunday afternoon, the Colorado Springs City Auditorium was filled with gospel music to celebrate the life and life works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior.

"To me, music and art are what bring people together," says Wendy Mike, member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America.

Hundreds of people gathered to hear the powerful gospel music and to be reminded of Dr. King's dream.

"I hope they get more hope, inspiration and drive to continue to make this dream, his dream. It should be our dream now," reflects Charles "Lucky" Gibbs, musician.

"Unity, love, peace, and that's something that we need right now," says P.M. Wynn of Gospel Music Workshop of America. "I might not agree with you, but we need to agree to disagree to get along in this world."

The Colorado Springs chapter of Gospel Music Workshop of America organizes the annual event.
