A mild start to October with a big cool down by Thursday

TONIGHT: Cold and clear tonight. Lows in the low 40s in Colorado Springs and in the upper 30s in Pueblo.

TOMORROW: Warming trend begins.  High temperatures will be above average with a high in the upper 70s in Colorado Springs and in the low 80s in Pueblo.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Clear conditions but milder overnight lows with lows staying in the upper 40s in the Springs and in the low 40s in Pueblo.

WEDNESDAY: Another day of sunny skies and warm temperatures.  The high in Colorado Springs in the low 80s and in mid to upper 80s in Pueblo. Breezy winds with gusts to 30 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Expect gusty winds and a rapid drop in temperature with lows in the low 30s in the Springs and Pueblo. Winds from the north gusting over 30 mph.

THURSDAY: Break out the winter clothes as daytime highs will be over 30 degrees cooler than Wednesday.  The high in Colorado Springs on Thursday will be in the upper 40s and the mid 50s in Pueblo.  Another cold night with lows in the upper 20s and near 30 in Pueblo.

FRIDAY: A little warmer with daytime highs rising into the mid 50s in the Springs and near 60 in Pueblo.

SATURDAY: Cooler again behind another cold front with highs in the low 50s in Colorado Springs and mid to upper 50s for Pueblo.  A chance for a few showers.  Another cold night with lows dropping into the upper 30s in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

SUNDAY: More clouds and a little warmer with highs in the mid to upper 50s in Colorado Springs and in Pueblo.

MONDAY: More sunshine and warmer conditions. The high in the upper 60s in the Springs and the low 70s in Pueblo.
