The colder air has already arrived, and temps will fall hour by hour from this point on. Then there's the snow. The further south you travel, and the closer to get to the mountains, the heavier your snow will be. I've included a link to our latest snowfall estimates. More than the snow, we're concerned about icy roads. As warm as we've been, the first snowflakes to fly will melt, then freeze, laying down a base of ice, so just to be safe, allow yourself some extra commuting time for Thursday morning. The chance for snow will taper off from north to south on Thursday, leaving more stars and chilly temps Friday morning. Friday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine, with warmer temps, leading to a mostly sunny, warmer weekend. Breezes will increase on Monday, boosting highs to 15-20 degrees above average, with slightly cooler, breezy days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
