A glimpse at General Palmer's family life

If you're a local history buff, you have a chance to learn more about General Palmer's family life from Susan Fletcher, historian at Glen Eyrie. Fletcher's insights come from the diary of Dorothy Comyns Carr, as she presents "Two Twenty-Something Girls Talking About Glen Eyrie."
Her lecture will be featured Tuesday at Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center's "Lunch & A Look at the Garden" series of park-related topics.
The free presentation begins at noon in the Red Rocks Room. Further discussions continue with lunch in the café (at participants' own expense). RSVP by calling 219-0108.
