It was fine art and music that brought out the crowds to Memorial Park in Manitou Springs. The Commonwheel Artists 37th Annual Labor Day weekend Fine Arts and Crafts Festival is always a popular event.

Over 100 local and regional artists shared and sold their works. Artist Micheline Brierre says she enjoys the atmosphere the festival creates.

"I just love being here It has a feeling of being intimate and yes it has very good art, very good artists so it's a great show."

There were activities for the kids as well. Along with face painting and balloons animals, the Giant Bubbles display by the Manitou Art Theatre were a big hit.
