A Domestic disturbance ends with arrest

Colorado Springs Police are reporting that a domestic disturbance between a man and his wife and another male got out of hand when the husband pointed a gun at his wife shortly before 8:00 AM Saturday. Following a short struggle the husband, 23 year old Nathaniel Coleman left the scene without firing any shots.

The Colorado Springs Police Domestic Violence Unit investigated and revealed that Mr Coleman had a previous disturbance in which he allegedly strangled her and broke one of her fingers. Officers were able to locate Mr Coleman at his place of work and he was still in possession of the hand gun. Mr Coleman was taken into custody and charged with Felony Menacing and various other charges.

Police did not say what the disturbance was about and the Domestic Violence Unit detectives are still investigating.
