A quick moving storm will bring some snow to the Pikes Peak region this morning, and to the Southern Mountains this morning and early afternoon. Elsewhere, there will be a chance for scattered snow/rain showers possible across southern Colorado, and maybe some local light snow accumulations.

Thursday and Friday, a high pressure will build over the region resulting in a period of mild weather and light winds. The lack of wind should keep the fire weather threat at bay these days.

On Saturday, the weather will be nice, with mild temperatures and still dry. But southwesterly winds will start to pick up again.

On Sunday, a southwesterly flow strengthens over Colorado with southwest winds continuing to increase, with the fire weather threat escalating. Otherwise, the warm and dry weather continues.
