A big low pressure system will swirl across our southern state line overnight, bringing some much-needed snow to the mountains (Winter Weather Advisories are in effect, and some areas will pick up over a foot of new snow), and gusty winds/snow showers to the rest of us. The unsettled conditions will last through early Wednesday, with increasing sunshine later. Thursday will be partly cloudy and mild, with a mostly sunny, warmer Friday. Breezes will return on Saturday, and another weak front will keep them going on Sunday and Monday. At this point, Tuesday looks partly cloudy and mild.
