What a change here on this Saturday. A cool front with strong winds raced down the Front Range early Saturday morning, and this will bring a much cooler day to the valleys today. While the I-25 corridor and all of the plains cool down, the mountains will not see as large of a temperature drop comparing Friday to Saturday because the cooler air is fairly low level. The cooler air at the surface will also put a cap on the atmosphere today, and not allow any storms to develop; however an isolated storm or two is possible in the mountains today. A return to warm air highlights our Sunday along with a better chance for some storms.
Saturday Forecast:
Colorado Springs: Breezy at times with a mix of clouds and sun, cooler, 10% chance for a storm, high 77
Pueblo: Partly cloudy and breezy, high 83
Monument: Breezy at times, cooler, 10% chance for a storm, high 73
Teller County: 10% chance for a storm, high 71
