A bike-a-rific reward

There is a whole lot of peddling going on near Sand Creek Elementary this afternoon. All 69 students in the fifth grade class were awarded with new bicycles on Thursday as part of the Kids on Bikes annual ABC's program.
Under the guidance of their teachers and principal, the students set goals at the beginning of the school year in academic achievement, behavior and character. As a reward for reaching those goals, the students were given a new bike, bike lock and helmet.
