A 94-year old Pueblo man was attacked and robbed inside his home over the weekend. Pueblo Police are still looking for suspects.

The home invasion happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday Jan. 23, on Stone Ave. Police say someone knocked on Michael Lindvay's door and asked to borrow some sugar. When Lindvay turned around, the suspect threw him down a flight of stairs and tried to smother him with a plastic bag. Officers say the suspect stole money from inside the home.

Officers say Lindvay suffered severe injuries, including a broken nose and broken ribs. The elderly man is recovering at the hospital in the intensive care unit. Police say Lindvay's injuries are not life threatening.

Officers report several home invasions in Pueblo recently. If a stranger comes to your door and won't go away, contact police.
