9 year old found dead

The Custer County Sheriff confirms a 9 year old boy died Monday afternoon from a gunshot wound to the head.
It happened in east Silver Cliff about a 1/2 mile out of town. The boy was flown to St. Mary Corwin after family members found him in their basement. The Sheriff says they were upstairs when they heard a gun shot. The shooting is still under investigation. Investigators think it may have been accidental.
