DENVER (AP) - Denver police say eight elementary school students have minor injuries after their school bus crashed on a ramp from southbound Interstate 225 to Yosemite Street.

Police say the driver of the Denver Public Schools bus was changing lanes when the bus collided with another vehicle Monday morning. The bus driver has been cited with making an unlawful lane change.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says about two dozen students were on the bus at the time. School district officials say the students attend Samuels Elementary School.

Police say the injured children complained mostly of back or neck pain.
