8 missing in Boulder County wildfire

Eight people believed to have been in the path of a Boulder County wildfire Monday are still not accounted for, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. Deputies are following-up with relatives and doing welfare checks, seeking information on the missing.
Originally, 20 people were reported missing, but the other 12 have been located.
That information was released Wednesday morning during a news briefing. Other new info:
- the size of the fire has been downgraded to 6,168 acres, following overnight mapping.
- air strength Wednesday: 5 heavy air tankers, 1 smaller plane, 3 choppers
- cause still under investigation
- no injuries reported
- more evacuations possible if winds shift or weather conditions change
