Local police agencies teamed up for an arrest overnight that resulted in the confiscation of 65 pounds of marijuana and two pounds of hashish.
It started with a report in Fountain that someone was trying to sell drugs at the KOA Kampground just off I-25. The suspects left, but officers were able to stop the suspects at a gas station a few miles away.
Their motorhome was searched and officers found bags of refined marijuana and hashish valued at about $150,000. All seven adults in the vehicle were booked on felony marijuana charges.
