Six people were injured, five of them children, in an overnight fire in Colorado Springs.

One of the kids and the lone adult have been flown to a burn unit at a Denver-area hospital.

As many as 12 people were in the home at the time. CSFD Capt. Rob Coffey says at least two families were staying in the home and that one of them may have been in the process of moving. "A lot of their belongings were inside the vehicle that had caught on fire," Coffey said. Firefighters believe the fire started in the garage then spread to the home.

The fire started at around 3:30 this morning at a home in the 1500 block of Chesham Circle, in the Holland Park area near Centennial Boulevard and Garden of the God's Road.
