BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraqi officials say at least 32 people were killed when a suicide bomber detonated an explosives-packed car in southeastern Baghdad. More than 60 people were wounded
Police officials say the attack happened this morning in a predominantly Shiite neighborhood, where mourners gathered for the funeral of a person killed the day before.
On Thursday, 17 people died in bombings around the country.
Insurgents have stepped up violence in Iraq since U.S. military withdrawal last month. More than 200 people have been killed since the beginning of the year.
