30% more getting help with food

It's a sign of the times, more people are receiving assistance with food in El Paso County.
You'll find long lines at the Department of Human Services--people waiting for help. DHS says about 14,000 more people are receiving food stamps this year compared to 2009. That's an increase of about 30%.
We're told the people who are lining up now, have exhausted all of their options.
