3 year old dies after apartment fire in Pueblo

The Pueblo County Deputy Coroner has just confirmed to News First 5 that a little 3 year old boy pulled from a burning apartment this afternoon has died.
The little boy was hiding in a closet of the apartment on West 13st street when the fire started around 4 p.m. The boys Grandma went in to the room to try to save him, but she was overcome by the smoke. A Pueblo Police officer got the boy out and CPR was started at the scene. We don't know yet if the boy died on scene or at the hospital.
The grandma is being treated at a local hospital.
