Three individuals have been arrested in connection to an early morning assault in Colorado Springs. Police got a call around 2:30 a.m. Monday about the attack.
A 26 year-old woman says she was attacked by several people at the Chief Motel. She said she was hit in the head by a frying pan and doused in lighter fluid.
The woman said during the attack she used a pair of scissors to fend off the attackers, and she believed she may have stabbed someone in the process.
Police were at the hospital when 44 year-old Toya Howard came in with a stab wound. He was picked out as a suspect. 35 year-old Sharon Charley and 38 year-old Willie Ray Gibson were also arrested.
Springs Police say they're still investigating the details leading to the assault.
