200 more Fort Carson soldiers coming home

More than 200 soldiers from Fort Carson are being welcomed home Sunday. These troops, with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, have been deployed for about a year; working with and helping prepare local security forces in Afghanistan.

A ceremony scheduled for 10:10 a.m. at the Mountain Post for the soldiers.

The Mountain Post has seen several soldiers rotating back home to Colorado Springs in the past few weeks. According to a release from Fort Carson, Sunday's ceremony marks the last main group of 2nd BCT soldiers coming home from this deployment.
