Three people were injured in a 20-car-pile up that temporarily closed eastbound Interstate 70 just west of Frisco.
Colorado State Patrol spokesman Nathaniel Reid says the three were taken to Summit Medical Center after Sunday's crashes but there was no word on their conditions.
Snowy weather caused problems for the area much of Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the day westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for an hour while multiple accidents were cleared off the road. No injuries were reported then.
The National Weather Service expects three to six inches of snow in the area through tonight.
