2 road workers killed south of Denver

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (AP) - Two road workers were killed when they were struck by an SUV in the Highlands Ranch area.
The Denver Post reports (http://bit.ly/107aJc7) the accident happened shortly before noon Tuesday as the vehicle came off of C-470 and Broadway.
Nate Reid of the Colorado State Patrol says the workers were in a work zone. Their identities have not been released.
Officials with Concrete Works of Colorado Inc. confirmed that both were employees of the company.
