2 people injured during shooting in downtown Denver

DENVER (AP) - Authorities say two people were injured in a shooting just as bars were about to close in downtown Denver.

Police spokesman John White tells The Denver Post someone pulled a gun and fired shots during a disturbance outside the ZI South club half a block east of Coors Field at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The victims, whose names have not been released, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made and police have not identified a suspect, who was possibly in a white truck or SUV similar to a Chevy Avalanche.
