AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Two motorcyclists have died in separate collisions in the Denver suburb of Aurora. Both collisions occurred Friday night. No names have been released. In the first crash, police say the motorcyclist collided with a sedan and was found about 300 feet away.
Investigators say he died at the scene.
Police say an officer had observed that motorcycle and another going 65 mph in a 40 mph zone. A couple believed to have been riding the other motorcycle returned to the scene, and one was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
In the second crash, investigators say the motorcycle was accelerating when it collided with an SUV turning left from the opposite direction. Police say the motorcyclist suffered a head injury and died at a hospital.
No one else was injured.
