2 killed in Illinois jet crash

A small cargo jet crashed about a mile short of the runway as it was preparing to land in Chicago Tuesday, killing the pilot and co-pilot.
The Learjet 35A was owned by Royal Air Cargo. No emergency was declared before it crashed into a marshy area next to Chicago Executive Airport in suburban Wheeling, Illinois.
The National Transportation Safety Board has begun its investigation.
