3 alarm fire out, some businesses still closed

A 3 alarm fire in downtown Colorado Springs is out. There were no injuries.

The fire was in the Majestic Building at 15 Bijou, near Cascade. Fire damaged at least two businesses, including 15C nightclub. Smoke damage is reported in the entire building. As of 11:30 a.m. the fire department allowed occupants to go back into their businesses. All can re-open with the exception of 15C and a jewelry store.

Tejon and Bijou streets were closed for about 2 hours, but have now reopened.

Fire investigators are at the scene right now trying to determine the cause of the fire.

At one time 60 firefighters were battling the fire. Most have returned to their fire stations.
