A 13-year-old and a 14-year-old are both facing burglary charges, they're also recovering after police say they both crashed stolen cars.
One of them ended up in a fence at Hancock and Morning Mist Dr. The 13-year-old was turning onto Hancock when neighbors say he hit another car and ended up in this fence.
The 14-year-old made it about a block farther; to the Loaf and Jug store at Hancock and Drennan. Neighbors say he almost ran into the store, then got out and ran; A police K-9 unit caught up with the 14-year-old.
Neighbors who were home when the crash happened say it was a wild scene.
"I heard a bang; the owner of the house came out and went and checked it out, and I went and checked it out and saw the car smashed up and the cop cars," says Randall Ward.
Neighbors also say the boys had broken into a nearby home, took TVs, all of their Christmas presents, and a container with a family member's ashes inside.
Both teenagers are facing several charges.
