$1200 reward for poachers

Eight deer were slaughtered around the town of La Veta on Tuesday. The Division of Wildlife is offering a hefty reward to find those responsible. "Anyone who comes forward with information is eligible for a $1,200 cash reward from the Division of Wildlife's Operation Game Thief fund," said Lance Gatlin, DOW Officer.
The killings happened in the early morning hours. The deer were shot and left in and around the town of La Veta.
