GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - An investigation is under way after a 104-car train loaded with coal derailed in De Beque Canyon in western Colorado.

Union Pacific spokesman Mark Davis tells the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel the train was headed from the West Elk Mine in Arco to Kentucky when one of its cars went off the rails just before 6 p.m. Saturday. No injuries were reported.

Davis says the derailed car remained upright and did not dump its load.
