BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A Boulder County judge has set $100,000 bail for an 18-year-old Longmont woman who was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run crash on New Year's Eve.
The Longmont Times-Call reports (http://bit.ly/Vrzv2z ) Kendra Rae Balentine was arrested Thursday morning on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident involving a death. She is set to appear in court Tuesday.
Authorities say a 16-year-old Denver boy who was running from a fight was hit and killed in Longmont just before midnight Monday.
Investigators say Balentine was related to some of the people involved in the scuffle, but they don't believe she intentionally hit the boy.
