10 lonely parking meters in Pueblo

If you park on 3rd St. between Main and Court in Pueblo get ready to pay. The City has 10 parking meters on the north side of the street.
Twenty-five cents will buy you half an hour. As far as we know, there aren't any other meters in Pueblo. All were removed decades ago.
So why here? The Colorado Lottery and the Pueblo Workforce Center are located on this block. We're still waiting to hear from the City Transportation Department.
