DENVER (AP) - One person died on a county road west of Denver and a multi-vehicle accident temporarily closed northbound lanes of Interstate 25 as wintry weather hit the mountains and Front Range.
Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid says there were injuries in three separate accidents Saturday morning on Interstate 25 just south of the metro area. Reid says there were two accidents on northbound I-25 near Lone Tree, and an accident on the southbound lanes. One of those accidents included a bus. Additional information, including whether any passengers were aboard the bus and how many vehicles were involved were not immediately available.
Reid says one person died a vehicle went into a creek in Gilpin County. The person pulled out of the car died on the way to the hospital.
