    Multi-vehicle crash at I-25 and Cimarron

    COLORADO SPRINGS - Per Colorado Springs Police department all NB lanes of I-25 are blocked at Cimarron due to a multi-vehicle accident.
    At least 7 vehicles and a semi possibly involved in this accident. Traffic is being detoured off the interstate at S. Nevada, north on S. Nevada to Bijou and back to NB I-25.
    Please avoid the area if possible or make alternative plans to get to your destination.

    Fremont County Sheriff's Deputy Arrested

    Fremont County Sheriff's Deputy, Joseph Bonfadini is under arrest on a sex assault warrant.

    He was taken into custody Wednesday during a traffic stop in Pueblo County. He is currently behind bars with no bond.

    Bonfadini has been with the sheriff's office since January 2013.

    Fallen Marine to be laid to rest today

    DENVER (AP) - Flags are flying at half-staff across Colorado in honor of a Parker Marine killed earlier this month in Afghanistan.
    The Pentagon says that 23-year-old Cpl. David Sonka of Parker and another Marine were killed May 4 during combat operations. The circumstances of the deaths are still being investigated.

    Sonka's funeral is scheduled for Thursday morning in Littleton. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
