Fire at Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs

Sandbags still available for families in Colorado Springs

Sandbags are still available to people who live near the Mountain Shadows area of Colorado Springs to help provide a barrier to flooding.
The city says they have many leftover sandbags from a distribution event earlier today, and residents are welcome to pick them up. The bags are located in the parking lot of the Verizon store at Garden of the Gods & 30th.

Colorado Springs ministry claims they were targeted by the IRS

Autistic teen found naked living in filth, charges against caretakers suspended

Sheriffs file lawsuit seeking overturn of gun laws

DENVER - Most of county sheriffs in Colorado have joined in a lawsuit against the state over the new gun control laws. In all, 54 of the state's 64 sheriffs have signed on as plaintiffs in the suit which seeks to overturn the high capacity magazine ban and expanded background checks.
