Sandbags are still available to people who live near the Mountain Shadows area of Colorado Springs to help provide a barrier to flooding.
The city says they have many leftover sandbags from a distribution event earlier today, and residents are welcome to pick them up. The bags are located in the parking lot of the Verizon store at Garden of the Gods & 30th.
