    A big Fall system is moving in for the first weekend of the new season. Highs will be much cooler today, only getting into the 60's and low 70's. It'll be an active day with showers and thunderstorms to go along with mainly dreary conditions. Some of those storms could be strong to severe for the far eastern plains with hail and gusty winds. The couple was hosted on the Ellen Degeneres show in hopes to shed light on the controversy behind transgender military service members.

    Denver Public Schools Superintendent Tom Boasberg announced late Friday that East High principal Andy Mendelsberg will retire following 26 years with the district, while athletic director Lisa Porter has also resigned.
