GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A 73-foot-tall Colorado spruce tree is about to begin a long journey to the U.S. Capitol for Christmas. The U.S. Forest Service said the tree will be cut Friday at Ripple Creek Lodge east of Meeker. Former U.S. Sen.
