Snow pre-empts Army training at Chatfield Park

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Army helicopter training planned for Chatfield State Park has been postponed because of a spring snowstorm.
Helicopters from Fort Carson had planned water-based exercises at the park southwest of Denver on Wednesday.

Fort Carson units to train at Chatfield State Park

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Chatfield State Park south of Denver is hosting water-based training for Fort Carson-based soldiers Wednesday.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say military helicopters and soldiers will be in the area during the day. The training won't involve any weapons or munitions.

Experts meeting on post-traumatic stress disorder

(AP) - Experts are gathering in Aurora to study post-traumatic stress disorder in an effort to help military veterans.
Democratic Sen. Mark Udall and Republican Rep. Mike Coffman have organized a task force that includes medical experts, psychologists and Colorado veterans.
The meeting on Monday will explore assistance currently available to veterans and what Congress can do to help.
