Auto-Pedestrian at Pikes Peak Ave and Union

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian and a dog.
The accident happened just after 8am Wednesday morning at the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs.
No word on the severity of injuries or lane blockages at this time.

Police activity shuts down Platte Ave.

Platte Ave is closed between Boulder and Circle due to police activity. Colorado Springs Police say that a warrant is being served and they are asking the public to avoid the area.

Tow truck driver injured after being pinned by truck

A tow truck driver was injured after he was pinned between his truck and a fence.
The driver got out of his vehicle, at Checker Wrecker on Delta drive. to unlock a gate when the truck rolled down a hill, trapping him.
The man was able to use his cell phone to call for help. He has been taken to a local hospital, his condition is unknown at this time.

Barricade blocking HWY 94 eastbound reopens

The barricade blocking Highway 94 East is now back open this morning. Highway 24 East as you're headed to Limon remains closed due to the snowy conditions. We'll update you once that changes.
