Avalanche Center Matt Duchene Signs With Swedish Team

Colorado Avalanche center Matt Duchene announced Tuesday on Twitter that he's signed on to play for Frolunda HC of the Swedish Elite League during the NHL lockout. He becomes the second member of the Avs to find European employment during the labor dispute that has erased the preseason.
Colorado goalie Semyon Varlamov signed with a team in Russia last week.
