in Colorado Springs offers a range of Pediatric services for children 0 to 18 and we specialize in children with behavioral problems. With more than 60 years' combined experience, our team of passionate providers and staff work in partnership with families and caregivers to support the well-being of children and are dedicated to help each child develop the building blocks that lead to a healthy life. In order to better serve an increasing need in the community, we have also opened an additional clinic, Springs Specialty Clinic to serve as primary care for adults with chronic conditions.

Our office is a safe and fun environment for families and is conveniently located near downtown. We accept all insurance carriers including Tri-Care and Medicaid and offer same-day appointments for sick visits.

•    Dr. Robert Sayers specializes in an array of different behavioral pediatric services including developmental delays, Autism and Aspergerdoctors syndrome, learning and school related problems and developmental/behavioral issues. A retired Air Force Colonel, Dr. Sayers has been working in the field of Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics for over 35 years.
•    Dr. Richard Kouri – A pediatrician for 40 years, Dr. Kouri received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Kouri has been working with Kids are Great for 7 years.   
•    Dr. Ann Buell – A pediatrician for over 15 years, Dr. Buell graduated from Texas A&M Medical School and is former Air Force Pediatrician. Dr. Buell has been working with Kids Are Great Pediatrics for 10 years.
•    Dr. Mark Shoptaugh – Pediatrician, Neonatologist
•    Dr. Jeanette Bachmann -- Pediatrician
•    Margie Parker, FNP-C Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
•    Lisa Galaider, FNP-C Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
•    Lindsay Dougherty – A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who joined our practice to provide care for any family's emotional needs. Ms. Dougherty has served the Colorado Springs community for many years

Please call our office at (719) 577-4200 during office hours to make an appointment.  
Mon-Thu 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM, 12:45 PM - 5:00 PM
Fri 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM
Sat-Sun - Closed

We are closed for lunch from noon to 1 PM

If you have an urgent issue, we will make every effort to make sure you are seen as soon as possible. Please call for Sick Visits! We strive to keep same day sick appointments open to accommodate last minute issues that might arise.

Before your first appointment, please send our office a copy of your child's medical records. Additionally, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment. For a Springs Specialty Clinic appointment, we request 72 hours advance notice if possible to allow those appointments to be used for other patients.
