    The death of Tim Watkins has turned into a homicide investigation. Watkins' body found in the very place where he loved to ride on Sunday and there remain a lot of unanswered questions a day later. This news has most people on edge in the heart of Palmer Lake, with a strong warning from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office to remain vigilant. "It's a small town, you feel safe in a town like this, that's why people move here," David Tenace, a neighbor said.

    ROYAL OAK, Mich. (AP) - Two bears that have been living at a Michigan zoo for nearly 20 years are getting a bigger yard. A brown bear named Polly and a black bear named Migwan left the Detroit Zoo on Monday for a new life in Colorado. Zoo director Ron Kagan says the bears will have many acres to roam at Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado. He says the move also will create more space for three grizzly bears at the suburban Detroit zoo.

    ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska authorities have confirmed a body found on a Kenai (KEE'-nye) River beach last week was that of a missing boater from Colorado. The Peninsula Clarion reports (http://bit.ly/2wqwTPq) the state medical examiner confirmed the man's identity as Phillip Keltner. The Kenai newspaper reported he lived in Sterling during the summers and in Colorado during the winters.

    Hundreds gathered outside Palmer Lake Town Hall Sunday night to remember Tim Watkins. Watkins was reported missing after no one  had seen or heard from him since Thursday when he left  to go cycling near Mount Herman. After search and rescue efforts, someone found a body near Mt. Herman on Sunday.  The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed if the body belongs to Tim Watkins.

    Colorado State Troopers Troopers suspect 60 year old Fidel Heredia was drinking and driving when he rolled through a stop sign and crashed into a dirt embankment overnight at Marksheffel and Mesa Ridge Parkway. His passenger wasn't wearing a seat belt and was seriously injured in the wreck. Heredia has been booked into the El Paso County Jail on suspicion of DUI.

In the video, you can see a man get a running start and body check the statue, watching it topple over and fall out of the planter it was put in.
