    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners about a possible link between certain dog foods and canine heart disease. The FDA put out a statement on July 12, following reports of canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs eating specific dog foods that contain peas, lentils, other legume seeds, or potatoes as the major ingredient. 

    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners about a possible link between certain dog foods and canine heart disease. Kennedy and her family had concerns that her senior season as a setter on the Liberty High School volleyball team.

    Fremont County commissioners are not happy with District Attorney Molly Chilson over a plea deal she offered Clerk and Recorder Katie Barr.  Barr was facing prison time for writing county checks to cover insufficient funds in her and her husband's personal bank accounts. Under a plea deal, Barr was able to avoid jail time and pay a $750 fine.

Mike says, “It feels awesome, it's a most wonderful thing To do this again.”  Mike doesn’t take his rides for granted these days, because less than a year ago he wondered if he might be able to ever get on his bike again following an accident while riding in Palmer Park.

    Margie Churchill survived a stroke in August of 2017 in Colorado Springs for many reasons.  The first and foremost is that her husband Norm quickly recognized the signs of a stroke and called 911.  Another reason Margie survived is because when Norm called 911, The UCHealth Mobile Stroke Unit (MSTU) just happened to be close by.

    Norm and Margie Churchill have been married for almost 62 years.  Their time together on this earth almost ended in August of 2017, but because Norm clearly recognized the signs of a stroke and knew how to react, the two are still happily married and enjoying life together.
