He is a Pueblo native and graduated from South High School in 1997. Andy earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Sam Houston State University in 2002. Some of his outside interests include playing guitar, going to movies and playing with his dog.

    A controversial book has been pulled from a Colorado Springs middle school after administrators say it should have never made it into the school in the first place. But librarians filed a petition against this, saying it's censorship. The District 20 School Board essentially voted to reject this petition on Thursday night, saying the book called "Perfect Chemistry" is not suitable for a middle school audience because of its inappropriate content.
