    11-year-old Kyler Nipper was stabbed with a pencil by one of his peers at Carmel Middle School back in October. He's faced some difficult times since then, but is now turning it all around to help put a stop to bullying.     Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department believe a three year old little boy wandered away from home in the middle of the night. A good Samaritan spotted the child as he was walking near Academy Boulevard and Rebecca Lane at about 3:00 a.m. A security guard also stopped and notified the police. Officers were greatly concerned about the child's welfare given the time of day and how close he was to a busy street.

    A main sewer line in Manitou Springs recently clogged and poured sewage into a homeowner's basement, causing nearly $80,000 in damage.  The homeowner filed a claim believing the City of Manitou Springs would compensate her because the backup came from the line they maintain, but Manitou officials said "no", citing the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act.
