This is the time of year you may be planning to bake more. Good Housekeeping tested new innovative kitchen items to help you take the cake.

If you've ever arrived at the school bake sale with half the cupcakes destroyed, Good Housekeeping says the Oneida bake and take cupcake carrier could be a lifesaver and a showstopper. This cupcake carrier costs $40.00. Kitchen appliances director, Sharon Franke says, the double decker cupcake carrier comes in 2 layers, "the bottom layer can also double as a nonstick baking pan.  It holds exactly 24 cupcakes, which is what you get from one cake mix.  And after you've put in all your cupcakes you can snap on the lid.  It snaps tightly in place and you can carry your cupcakes securely."

This product is sure to amuse the kids of all ages. The Wilton Silly Feet is a fun choice. "They are silicone baking cups that stand on feet.  They're lots of fun for kids.  you can pour your cake mix right into these, bake them up so that they look like cupcakes, and then decorate them. And there's a booklet that comes with them that gives you decorating suggestions," says Franke. These silly feet cost $10.

If you want the icing on the cake? Good Housekeeping says you can put that on easily with the revolving cake stand.  "When you buy a revolving cake stand, you want to make sure it turns in both directions to give you a lot of flexibility, and you want to make sure it's wider than the size of the cake you're going to decorate." The Wilton Revolving cake stand costs, $20.
