When Deborah Lane checks her mail, something is missing about once a month.

"It's our bank statements, and our credit card statements," she said. "It's our personal information."

Lane says it's been happening for years.  She often gets her neighbors mail.  Hers usually turns up at their house, except one month.

"We've had to close our bank account and open a new one because somebody didn't give us a statement from our bank," she said.

A few miles south of this growing Stetson Hills neighborhood is the post office that handles her mail.  Lane says she's filed a complaint, and spoken to several different people.

"We do have a misdelivery problem, just because the amount of mail and the amount of addresses," said U.S. Postal Service spokesperson, Ron Perry.

The post office says it's a city-wide problem that they've been working on, and is getting better.  After News First told them about the Lanes, they took action.

"That's an isolated problem that we have taken a few additional measures to get corrected and are currently working on it as we speak," he said.
