18 year old charged with careless driving causing bodily injury after hitting CDOT worker

Around 6:50 this morning a Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) worker was hit by a car on I-70 at mile marker 199.5 which is just west of Frisco, CO.
 
The CDOT worker, Rick Lee, 42 of Georgetown, CO. was in the center median repairing the cable barrier. Lee saw the westbound 1996 Honda Accord run off the left side of the road come straight at him, as Lee attempted to jump over the cable barrier out of harms way the car struck one of his legs. The Lee was taken to SummitMedicalCenter in Breckenridge.
 
The driver of the Honda, Ashley Webb, 18 of Grand Junction, CO was uninjured.
 
State Patrol investigators determined that the driver Webb asleep at the wheel and have charged her with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Injury.
